Read below, we discuss this. If they conscripted all their eligable men yes they would have more, right now they have less than russians 20 million reserve force. Plus chinese tech isnt very good. Their most advanced system is an outdated ukrainian aircraft carrier that they bought for cheap saying they were making it into a museum.

Spratly Islands and Paracel Islands belong to Vietnam. "Dirty dogs" occupied them in 1974 and 1986. China Internet network made their citizens became stupid persons. Japan, Vietnam, India, Korea, Russia, Mongolia will claims territories from "Dirty dogs" and teachs them a big lesson.

More like "Copy-Duplicate-Make Profits"

They make tons and tons of bootlegs and cheap knock-offs; from goods to hobby collections to military hardware... and don't give a damn about copyrights and intellectual properties

True... Some of their military vehicles (if not most of them) are simply duplicates of Russian designes, either licentional or knock-offs (produced after the Soviet-China Conflict without permission). They usually made only slight changes (i.e. different turret for PT-76/Type 63 amphibious tank).

Ad if you would look clearly at their new Chengdu J-20, from the front, it looks like the F-35 Lightning II, from the side it looks like the F-22 Raptor minus the tail and from top and bottom side, it looks like the Mikoyan Project 1.44

Well, Russia too has its PAK FA in progress, so this is rather a world-wide trend: whenever something appears everyone start to copy it. When Russia introduced its BMP-1, the Americans also started to develop their IFV; and when Britain came up with Harrier, Russians developed their Yaks-36, -38 and -141 (the last in turn was used by Americans during developement of their F-35, most noticibly the movable engine nozzle).

but China blatantly copies everything, it is no surprise that it is likely China that hacked Northrop Grumman (known for the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber and YF-23 Black Widow II) and Lockheed Martin (F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II)

Frankly, PLA do not have too many PLZ-45, It is only an SPG designed for export.

Most of normal chinese division are equiped with type 89, an old version SPG with 152MM gun, russia style.

But the elite force, like the tank divisions stationed in LiaoNing, whose duty to defand captial and react to the bad situation in Korea, would get the best weapon, like PLZ 05, the new SPG first showed to the pubilc in 2007. with long 155MM gun and advanced fire control system.

the other mistake you have made is: we would never use Second Artillery Corps to attack any country in south Asia, it is the last card we could play in the nuclear war. Frankly, we would better deal with the border dispute through diplomatic channel.

But the PLA Ground Forces has some if not several MLRS type weapons which is in some ways more effective in terms of overall area damage...

PLA excatly have an plan about MLRS,maybe even build some phototype machines. But until now, the best rocket luncher china have got is the copy of BM30, or we called A 100,good staff, but it is too heavy.

However,I am very confidence about chinese ground army

I have heard the media about the PLA force is preparing for several rocket launching projectiles' research. They are testing for longer range, better accuracy, even some new projectiles like guided rocket, cluster bomb, and even some anti-material ammunitions. If they are researching these warfare, I hope that could be replaced and to be comparable to several other countries' rocket technology, even the MLRS as well.

China's may have the world's largest standing army, but it means nothing with out a Navy and airforce of equal power to back it up. China's navyis smaller then both the ROK Navy and the Japanese Self-Defense Force as such they are no threat to the US who have the world's largest navy and the world's largest carrier force while China has no carriers.

China's submarine force is already a force to reckon with and they are powering up the Varyag, a Soviet made aircraft carrier they purchased from Ukraine

China has 1 Soviet era aircraft carrier compared to the US's 18? No offense to the Chinese but that math doesn't add up to me. At the sametime the US has a very powerful submarine force as well. When it comes down to Navy and air warfare the US will always have more planes and more ships.

Against US they are not a threat, but against a weaker state such as where I live, they are a threat, so stop comparing China against US because this one is intended for those weaker state because USA is not the only one that has military force.

Just a thing, the PLZ-45 howitzer is based off the Type 89(?) and designed solely for export purposes. The PLA itself uses the Tpye 89.

Meh, the US military has been preparing for a war with the Chinese for the last 15 years, and if their rate of growth continues even at recession levels; by power transition theory we should be going to war around 2035.

Well, no one actually wants to start a WW3 with China, sameway no smart "OPFOR" country wants to actually start a war with teh US. And if this is a Cold War, the US will not come out on top unless they fix there economy. The only reason that America ever won a war (and the US doesn't win very often) was because of there production capablities. Now that they don't have that it could be a real problem in the long run.

China is like WW2's Italy. Epic army that would be like, ya were invading and what not then the anks would break down, the rifles would jam and the missiles would blow up mid flight while some American presses a button and a drone wipes out half the army overnight. Just saying...
